Harvesting of new crop garlic has started in China in the Henan province now, but in small quantity. The yield 2021 is predicted to be 10%-20% less compared to 2020. Price of recent 2020 crop price has been rising for two weeks. 2021 new crop will largely come to market since June, 2021. 

Raw material rising and The strong RMB and high freight rates are big chanlllenges for importers of (dehydrated) Chinese garlic.

For spot business with prompt shipment, buyer can buy partial of it. but for major orders, we suggest our customers to wait a little bit. Major reason for the rising is all becuase of heavy speculations. Based on our prediction, 2021 new crop initial stages, price could be much higher than current 2020 crop. In order to go againt such market, we need our customers to make plans now in advance and have deep discussion with Concept int'l to make better solutions.
